The RE Site
The RE site is at
the centre of a family of sites which includes The RE
Directory, REfuel and Places of Worship. The aim of TheREsite
itself is to act as your starting point for RE on the web, by
providing comprehensive collections of links to resources and
information.
Special features of TheREsite include the allRE search index
of RE Web resources, and the AV/IT index of CD-ROM, DVD, video
and other AV / software resources for RE.
ICT advice for RE Teachers
The range of
advice and support in this section will help you to integrate
ICT more effectively into your teaching and learning across
the curriculum. There is information and examples of good
practice in curriculum subjects, as well as advice on
selecting the most appropriate resources for your needs.

resources. They have all been evaluated by teachers, and cover
all stages of the national curriculum.
BBC Radio Religious Education
The three series listed
here are primarily intended to meet the objectives of the
Scottish 5 - 14 Guidelines on Religious and Moral Education, but
are also directly relevant to related study in schools in
England, Northern Ireland and Wales.
The Society has very strong links

and video form as well as text. The Sikh religion today has a
following of over 20 million people worldwide and is ranked as
the worlds 5th largest religion. Sikhism preaches a message of
devotion and remembrance of God at all times, truthful living,
equality of mankind and denounces superstitions and blind
rituals
The Jewish Chronicle
The worlds oldest
and most influential Jewish newspaper, the London-based Jewish
Chronicle has a 160 year history of editorial independence. Its
news and opinion pages reflect the entire spectrum of Jewish
religious, social and political thought from left to right,
Orthodox to secular while its arts and lifestyle coverage
includes film, theatre, travel, cookery and youth events.
Amnesty International UK
Amnesty
International is a worldwide voluntary movement of people who
campaign for human rights. They are independent of any
government, political ideology, economic interest or religion.
Their vision is of a world in which every person enjoys all of
the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human
Rights and other international human rights standards.
Pilgrims Progress
An interesting site devoted
entirely to the concept of
